France had always been a holiday destination that interested my girlfriend and me, being lovers of French cuisine and wine. We really wanted to get a true feeling of rural France, and so began looking for gites France to stay in.

We found French Maison to be an excellent website for French holiday accommodation, with a range of privately owned cottages, gites, villas and farmhouses across the regions of France. After picking a beautiful-looking cottage in Brittany, we made contact with the owner to discuss details.

The correspondence we had was very positive and enjoyable, arranging our dates, prices and circumstances in a warm and friendly manner. We arranged some flights and everything was set.

The cottage was easy to find, and everything we'd hoped for; well kept, very clean and homely. Our stay was extremely enjoyable, taking in some French culture, some delicious food, and gorgeous warm nights drinking local wine on the patio.
