Steljes, the UK-based trade distributor of display technology, has made a promise to dealers to supply the lowest trade prices in the industry. The company says the price promise is a first for the AV industry and gives the company a strong proposition for dealers. The price pledge was launched this month and applies to all trade purchases made within the UK, but only via a competitive authorised distributor. Steljes's distribution director Daryl Brennan says prices are regularly checked across the UK and if the same goods are found elsewhere cheaper, prices are automatically dropped to match. (Sounds like a super market!)The offer is not available to trade customers that already have a direct vendor relationship. Steljes currently stocks projectors, plasma screens and interactive technology from NEC projectors, Samsung projectors, InFocus projectors, Toshiba projectors and Panasonic projectors and is the sole UK distributor for SMART Technologies' Interactive Technology.
